Red Greece

Is there a cultural reason that Greek people are so loud when they talk??

I used to live in a street where a lot of greek people lived and could seriously hear what sounded like yelling/arguing when they were "talking". I'm curious to know why just a note that i really would like to know why am not being racist. you could also go the opposite way and say why are japanese people usually so shy and there would be a genuine answer due to cultural differences etc etc so please don't be offended

  1. lol your racist
  2. not true.
  3. They talk from their gut which is akin to the technique used for singing and stage acting. As a result it travels further. As far as pure volume goes, that's from living in a large family and always talking over other people.
