being a single female pensioner and a lover of greece and the greek people i wish to find out about any cruises or holidays that would be suitable for a elderly woman travelling alone.

2. Any cruise would be good for a single person. It you're not used to travelling alone, I'd suggest a Thomson cruise, maybe aboard the Emerald which is a small and friendly ship. The trouble is, you might have to pay a high single supplement BUT you'll be able to travel from your local airport. If you keep an eye out for cruises on the Orient Lines Marco Polo, they often offer cruises at no single supplement at all, but their flying arrangements can sometimes be a bit complicated.
