Red Greece
this is for people who are Greek??
most of us from the us and other countries believe in god..my self inculded.. but i have read about the greek gods.. do the greek people still believe in those gods.. and give worship to them..or did the practice die out.. I mean no offense.. and i do not know any greek people to ask.. but i just wonder.. after all since we have practice our beliefs for over 1000s of years.. i just assume or maybe wonder if they were the same

In modern times, the Olympian pantheon of gods (Zeus, Hera, Hades, etc) are mostly limited to the mythology section in Greek textbooks and museums, though there are a few small groups who continue to worship them. Approximately 98% of the population of Greece is Greek Orthodox, though not necessarily all are practicing. Greece has very strong Christian traditions, and is one of the oldest Christian countries, with Christian roots dating back to Jesus' days. The Greek flag itself bears the Christian cross.
