When is the best time to travel to Greece?

1. Right now, not very many people.
2. I went in September, not so crowded and still beautiful.

5. Despite being Greek, I must say BE CAREFUL, because the prices here are ridiculously high. Example? Bottle of water (500 ml): over 1 EURO. But if you're really interested in history get a big fat loan and come and indulge...... If you want to come only to relax or to party there are other (cheaper and sometimes better) solutions.
6. Any time it dosen't really matter.As long as ur in the mood to go.
7. Look: being greek i know that greece is really beautiful in the summer but that's when all the turists come and the prices get really high especially on islands. If you come at the begining of Automn most people will be gone, the weather will still be great and the prices won't be that high... Be sure when you arrive to buy: suvlaki (for lunch) and frape (it's a kind of coffee, the e in frapE is pronounced too). Many people who visit Greece, before they leave buy from super markets frape and take it with them. It's like the best coffee EVER. Be careful though, not Greek coffee. Frape is greek too but if you say greek coffee they'll bring you another kind. Taste greek coffee too :P. Ok maybe i shared more information than you need here. Sorry....!
