2. Perhaps you mean "Ancient history of Greece - does anyone know it right from the beginning? The very beginning is only known by speculation, and inferences from pieces of pottery and other art and tools left behind - there is no written record. But one really interesting period of Greek history prior to the "Golden Age" of Plato and Socrates, is the Minoan period. There are lots of artifacts left from the palace at Knossos on Crete, and the most fascinating story of all is the story of the island of Thera (now called Santorini), which may very well have been the origin of the story of Atlantis.
