  1. You use the past tense - when are you talking about when you say 'Used to have' then I will gladly help you
  2. Dear You are very confused and you're confusing us too. What do you want to know? and for which time period? Greeks in 2007, in 2000 in the 80's in the 20's in the 15the century or in 4th century BC? Use what and for what purpose? The only two things that I know that the past 5000 years are in constant use in Greece is oil and wine.
  3. "Used to" I assume refers to the ancient times, say 2500 years ago or so. And still have to today. One amazing fact is the language which although it has changed over the centuries still a modern day uneducated Greek uses 60% of Homer's vocabulary. Games? The Olympic games are still going on and have been accepted as a focal athletic event by most of the world. Foods? Olive oil and wine as Kimon said permeate the Greek cooking. Potatos and Tomatoes came in much later after the discovery of the Americas and are an integral part of today's foods. Dancing. There are some dances (folk ) which are part of the culture and originated in the ancient times. Books? Most of the extant ancient dramatists, poets and historians and philosophers are now part of the legacy of the western culture and still studied around the world. Many phrases taken from them have found their way not only in the Greek language but also in many European languages including English. i.e. Achilles' heel, Cassandra, Trojan horse etc.
