About Greece & Turkey, Turkey & Greece? I think of a both side Union! If these countries put away all their conflicts they could probably run a union that could be better than the E.E. They are located in the best place on Earth, in the center of the world ( Medditeranean ). They want each others' land but what if they share it and not try to claim it?! Imagine what a big tourism could be managed. I think, and we also see it in history, that if only one country owns these lands then it would powerful(Roman,Byzantine,Ottoman empire)! And that's the reason why the two countries cannot develop & achieve great aims!Cause they live in a divided place. This is a great idea, a Union! A social movement could manage it, cause politics does not seem to do something. Turkey and Greece together wouldn't be a Great Power? With a total population of 80-100 million its like making a Germany but in the greatest place of the world. It would attract the worlwide interest! But it could also bring the 3rd World War( WWIII)!!! What do you think? Do not say that it never will happen! That's a sure thing! I only want to know your opinion about this if it could be possible. I don't speak about Cyprus JOHN jen but for the two countries above. fisikaellinida you have to look your life from every side... try to understand... may be we are not always think of the right things...

Me or mom???? I am a student in the 2nd year at the International Economic Relations Faculty and I have recently received an offer to work as a trainee in Greece (me being from Romania) for the summer period. I will receive a tourism certificate at the end and I also get paid 16 euros per day(which is much more than I would receive here in Romania if I find a similar job) accomodation and three meals per day. Unfortunetly my mom has a fear problem, panick attacks and she works as an accountant. Till know I've helped her with the papers(doing and delivering). Her major problem is that if I leave no one will help her anymore. I've proposed to find someone and to pay that someone from the money I receive in Greece and she still won't let me go. What should I do?? Sacrifice myself, my wishes and a great opportunity for my mom or leave and hope she'll forgive me???
