I am greek and albanian. when i tell people im greek when they ask of my accent they think it is cool and nice, but when i say i am albanian they dont really think that much and i think they dont like it so should i just say im greek Im very proud to be from the land of the eagle but people think me and my family are theives! as americans what do you all think!

Do you think foreign women fit in well in Greek communities or are they always outsiders? Greek last names. People from Crete have "is" endings...? Why do turks still hate greek people, even today? ok i must confess, even myself, still hate the turks and i even go to an international school where 85% of the whole school are turkish. the greek community in our school is very tight and close together because all together we are 10 kids. it really kills me on the inside having to listen to that language daily...but the other side is that i do have turkish friends, but most of the people..i can't even STAND them!...even the teachers are turkish and there is a huuge discrimination amongst us, greeks and them, the turks. i can't complain to the managers of this school, they are turkish too! through this thing i am living for 7 years in it (i'm year 7, and 13 y/o) and believe it or not, i don't live in turkey! i live in romania right now!! we have all seen the videos on youtube, google video etc etc. about how much both countries hate each other. a very little percentage of turks and greeks try to make peace videos between the two countries, but no success...what should i do??

I hope we haven't given you a bad impression :( but since there are bad and good people everywhere it can happen! "Scouttster" i noticed that you have been very aggressive and i am sorry if you had bad experience with Greek people before but you could be more polite. Therefore i checked the other questions you have answered to see if it was only towards us that you feel that way and i couldn't help than notice that you have been showing a lot of anger and rasistic behaviour to others too (Irish etc.). I judge you as a person but i will not judge the other people with the same nationality in the same way because rasistic comments will only be welcomed by rasists and no one else.

what do greek people look like? Generally, what do they look like? No one I know is Greek, and I'm writing a story. There's this girl with a Greek name. Now, I know she doesn't necessarily have to be greek just because of her name, but I was wondering it would make a little bit more sense.
